Self Management
Check the benefits of our approach
At some time or another, most people get stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling or functioning that cause unhappiness and stress.
We may be overwhelmed by an impossibly long list of seemingly urgent, vitally important tasks and conflicting priorities. Our reactions to unwanted or unforeseen events can cause us to lose focus, waste effort, miss opportunities and create problems for others. We can become our own worst enemies through self-criticism, self-doubt, and unresponsiveness to our needs.
The risk, when these things happen, is that we "tune out" to avoid or tolerate an unsatisfactory situation until we "burn out", explode in rage, become seriously dispirited, over-anxious or despondent.
Mentoring can help you regain perspective and focus:

Mentoring support can also:
- Improve your ability to self-manage
- Contain a challenge, crisis or dilemma to make it safe enough to explore and deal with the resulting anxiety, pain or confusion without spinning out, suppressing your feelings, running away, blaming or taking it out on others
- Encourage your determination to "clarify and keep The Main Thing the main thing"
- Give you honest and supportive feedback to remove confusion
- Identify your stressors and manage their effects
- Enhance awareness of your needs and help you learn how to fulfill them
- Show you how to manage your priorities to make good use of your time and energy
- Raise awareness of your feelings and thought patterns - those which contribute to effectiveness and those which disable it
- Demonstrate the importance of understanding how we create and can alter our personal experience of reality
- Help you to trust, access and be guided by your innate intuition and wisdom
- Encourage you to develop a supportive and caring relationship with yourself, to create a healthy balance between your own needs and the needs of others
- Align the ways you work with your personal inner purpose
- Help you experience the world as a less hurried, kinder, more purposeful and more rewarding place.
Our approach depends very much on what you can tell us about your needs. You may select and talk with a mentor now, after first completing the self-assessment or applying one of our surveys to clarity perceptions, issues and challenges.
