Clarify perceptions with online surveys
If your interest in interpersonal communication and relationship management practices includes any of those items listed in our self-assessment form, we recommend the following surveys. Each is a quick, simple and safe tool to help define issues and ideals, and locate start-points for development:
- Constructive Interpersonal Practices. A 25-item survey addressing issues of self-initiative, self-expression, integrity, listening, giving and receiving feedback, conflict resolution and relationship maintenance. Items are rated on a six-point scale.
You may complete a self-assessment option (we advise this as a first step) or also involve other people (minimum of six people in a 360° or narrower focus) whom you consider qualified to give you useful, relevant or interesting perspectives. We will help guide you to the best approach.
The survey is first personalised for your use and accessed online through an emailed URL.
All survey respondents complete the survey online anonymously by a nominated return date.
The results (your own separated from others') are returned to you by emailed URL. We will offer you support with survey interpretation and action-planning for change.
The process may be used either for one-off or repeated application.

This questionnaire is reprinted from the Workbook and is a step designed to help you establish reference-points (strengths, weaknesses, priorities) for development and progress monitoring. At the time your order the Guidebook and Workbook set, we email you this questionnaire. We recommend you complete it before you see the books. If you wish, you can return it to us to facilitate any 1:1 mentoring support you may subsequently need with your studies. Visit the order form to purchase the books.
- Hear and Be Heard Self-Appraisal Process and our Analysis (without publications). You may also ask to receive this questionnaire by email, free and have us analyse your response for a modest fee.
If you choose to complete and return it we will analyse your responses and report our view of the strengths and any developmental needs indicated. You may or may not then want to purchase the publications or receive further mentoring support, though there is no obligation to do so. Contact us or see the order form to proceed.
