Heifetz, R., & Linsky, M. 2002. Leadership on the line: Staying alive through the dangers of leading. Boston, MA: Harvard Business School Press. (The third segment of Heifitz & Linsky's book deals with body and soul. In the final chapter titled "Sacred Heart," the authors talk about exercising leadership as an expression of your aliveness but they warn against losing heart.)
